Over in Japan, conformity and being "normal" are valued most. More so than many other places. Anyone who stands out gets treated as an outcast and these people usually retreat to whatever small fetishes they've grown to enjoy.

I benefit from being both unique and ordinary. What I mean to say is to survive in a world where individuality is wanted and shunned at the same time, deception is the best way to get what you want.
